It came to England in 1066 from the Norsemen (Vikings) after they kicked the crap out of Scotland and England. Slightly Germanic in its origins but fun none-the-less. All of my Maynard clan also are thick-legged and the men have strong upper bodies while the Maynard women have large bra sizes. Not sure if the latter holds true to all Maynard women but it seems to be true here in Michigan.

Maynard is of german origin. All the women from this surname have large breast, large legs and little wastes. My grandmother was  maynard from Eastern KY. We are related.

Check into Melungeons and Elizabeth Hirschman. She's a doctor and has extensive research in this subject with DNA testing.

Maynard is a cover name to avoid persecution. She has seen with evidence in DNA and research Melungeons are Crypto Jews. Jews from Spain and Portugese expulsion who became "hidden". They accepted Christianity only as cover. After 2-3 generations, the children accepted it since they didn't know any better. Also check Beni Anusim. It is actually gaining a lot of traction as far as the Crypto Jews being revealed and coming back to the original religion. Don't let dark skin, dark hair fool you into thinking you are a german, nord, or british. As these are fair skin, blond hair, and such.

Black Foot is a common tradition stemming back when Indians were safe and jews and blacks were persecuted during slavery and couldn't own land in the south. So they said they were a tribe of natives called blackfoot. Black Foot is not an actually indian tribe (unknown at that time, but now with historical records/dna/archeology we know), but just another cover to avoid persecution. Our people have been using cover since the 1400's.
