Efficiency is doing things right and effectiveness is 'doing the right things'. For instance you produced 100 televisions according to the budget and materials, that is efficiency. But the televisions are black & white and have no demand in the market. That is effectiveness.

Someone can be very efficient with their resources, but yet are their efforts effective? Not necessarily so. The best combination is someone who is efficient in time and money spent and gets the required results.
