My name is lydia, and I heard it means pretty in spanish , I know tht in egyptian it translates as 'beautiful flower' , but the name is mostly known as the place . It was the first place to have coins apparently ! But I'm not totally sure about the spanish thing I found it out a few years back and have not heard anything else about it since!
