I Keep Having Reoccurring Nightmare About Being Shot What Does This Mean?

Okay so I havent ever really remembered any of my dreams/nightmares but when I went to jail I started having nightmares about micheal myers killing me and I would remember. Then when I got home it stopped for a little bit and then I had a nightmare about him killing  me on a bus after he killed my friend. Every time I had a night mare he killed my friend first and just last night I had a night mare somebody killed my friend and I ran and fell and curled up in a ball and he shot me 4 times in my arms and legs
then like 8 times in my back and I started spitting out blood then I woke up gagging. And I havent ever had dreams of me dying before and now every time I dream I die and ive never even really had a good dream every time I dream its a nightmare I would really like to know what this means.

Nightmares or dreams in general are the images, thoughts and feelings which are experienced while asleep. There has been many researches on them but they are still poorly understood. There can be many reasons behind a nightmare like this. It can portray your inner fears that rest with your subconscious. You might fear being shot or being dead and it is portrayed in your nightmare. For interpretation it means, that someone or particularly an enemy is going to hit you very soon.

It's not like it will happen, you have an internal feeling of being scared by a movie of the same shot, (i.e someone shooting other person). Cool down yourself everything will be ok.
