It's an urban legend so I'm afraid not very true at all but a very funny story nonetheless. The snake boys origin supposedly derives from the unfortunate birth of a twin that happened to be born half boy half snake, the name of the other half of the twin is 'Robina' a female who is supposed to also be disfigured in some way (this has been found to be untrue). The father John Gokongwei is the head of the Robinson empire which includes the Malls where the snake is supposed to appear.
