Semite is formed form Semitic. Semite is a noun. It refers to Jews. Jews are the people who are considered to be the descendants of the ancient Israelites. Semite is member of people from south-western Asia like Akkadians, Arabs, Canaanites, Hebrews and Phoenicians. They speak Semitic language.
