It may just mean that you're in the process of growing and developing. There is a reason that they call them "growing pains." However, you want to be sure that there is nothing abnormal taking place, so you need to make an honest assessment of your condition. If this is something that is really bothering you, don't wait until later to tell your parents and/or consult a physician. You should at least let them know that you are experiencing this type of discomfort so they are aware of the situation. In the event that this may not be related to normal development, you need to be honest about what you're feeling so someone with more life experience can be of assistance.
13 is a scary age for a girl, and not everyone is equipped with the appropriate information, so the best thing you can do for yourself is pursue as much of it as you can, as opposed to waiting for someone to give it to you. That applies to all aspects of your life, and not just your current situation. Whatever you do, don't be afraid to speak up.
