It means we are all one, around the world. Right now we have separate countries different governments, different kinds of currency(money), different laws to rule our different countries. But now we are all in touch around the world this is beginning to change! Like the money used in Europe called the Euro, replaced a bunch of different countries different types of money so now their is only one type that can be used anywhere in Europe(that's why they call it a Euro! As we do more things with more countries, it is becoming "Global", We travel all over the world people are moving all over the world, our problems are becoming the same everywhere in the world(water and air pollution, for example), and it will soon cause us to change our ways.
