The flag of Philippines is consisted of equal bands, horizontal bicolor of which is royal blue and scarlet red, there is a white equilateral triangle at the hoist, and a golden yellow sun with eight primary rays at the center of the triangle. The design of the flag was conceptualized by President Emilio Aguinaldo in 1897.
