Using computers or phones to much can lead to arthritis. Thats why it is suggested better to use a mouse than the little touch thing on laptops. Do you physically HAVE to pop your wrists back in? Or has it become a sort of habit? If your bones start to ache then that means your heading for arthritis. But don't worry, a lot of people seem to pop parts, like fingers or knuckles, just don't do it regularly or anything and you should be fine

It definitely could be a sign, and is something you'll want to get checked out/watch out for if it continues on. If it starts hurting to pop them, dart to the doc and see what s/he says.
