Research is another way to say information gathering, and it is having information which allows us to make better decisions.
We all research the world around us constantly without realising it. Every time we open our eyes or ask a question we are gathering information about the world, and every time we think about something, we are using that information in order to make a decision. The more information we have the better informed our decisions are.
Scientific or epistemological research is research that is information gathering that is done in a controlled manner in order to ensure that its findings can be reproduced and therefore the validity of the information can be tested and confirmed. In other words, all professional research attempts to gather information that is as accurate and reliable as possible.
The reason scientific research is so important is because it creates the building blocks of knowledge that we base our understanding of the world on. There is so much about the world that we still do not understand and every piece of knowledge is connected to another, so research into the way atoms are built can lead to new medicines or new machinery and computers.
It is vitally important that all research is done to the best possible quality and that it is as reliable as possible. It is also very important that all research is done to certain ethical standards, including declaring who the sponsor of the research is and publishing the exact method of the research. This is to ensure that all research is not biased and that it is of a good enough quality that we can make decisions based on the information gathered.

We learn the theoretical part while studying any subject but to have an intense depth, research and development is highly required. It ensures valid information and in depth analysis of the subject we study. A research department has the access to the various dimensions of knowledge, expertise and skills of that department, also the facility of modern research equipment.

Research helps in explaining things with a practical vision and the study is completed faster. To determine the best, independent view on an object is highly appreciated. Consumer choices are influenced by the various researches practiced. It summarizes the valuable information for effective understanding.

It entails an organised review and assessment to avoid future conflicts. Lastly, we can say that prior research on any given subject is necessary for imparting knowledge.

Truth be told, it isn't. I also think you know that. If you believed in research you would use books and not a website like blurtit.com. Come on now. I think you are messing with me.
