A theory is something that HASN'T BEEN PROVEN but has enough analysis to make it seem plausible. (i.e. Big bang theory) A model is an EXAMPLE of something that does exist or will exist. (i.e. Model car, airplane...a 'model' of the the new arena theyre building next year;hypothetically).
