I believe it means that the idea of love (romanticized version of butterflies in stomach, mussy feelings,etc) is just infatuation. That form of love (infatuation) is not real love, because it only loves for the moment until the next person comes along. But true love is unconditional. True love is patient, kind, does not envy, is not full of pride, not selfish, does not act foolishly, not easily angered, thinks no evil, does not find happiness in pain, but finds in joy in the truth. True love suffers through all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. True love never fails. I got this definition from the Bible 1 Corinthians 13.
