It's a quote from a comedy programme made by a friend of Jeremys, Steve Coogan, who plays "Alan Partridge" on a programme called "Knowing Me Knowing You - with Alan Partridge." On one episode Alan accidentally shot and killed a guest, and was subsequently arrested. He ended the show by saying "and on that bombshell..." followed by his catchphrase for the series "aha!"

Mockmock is so nearly right, the only addition I would make is that Alan ended every episode of KMKYWAP with "and on that bombshell"- once surrounded by half naked male strippers who he had mistakenly booked thinking they were female.
