Bryant has 2 origins English :First found Denbigh South Wales, where they had been granted lands by William the Conqueror for there assistance at the Battle of Hastings in 1066.

The name originated from Ireland and is a shortened form of O"Bryant.  My uncle was invited to a reunion in Ireland.
