What Does The Name Amber Come From?

Hello guys, I know that the name Amber comes from an English origin. It means: A precious gemstone, which is formed from fossil resin. I really like the name Amber because It seems sort of elegant and graceful to me. It is a hard, translucent fossil resin, used for making jewelry and other ornamental objects. So I bought some amber stones from Drfinejewels.com for making a bracelet.

Its a semi precious stone kinda. Its made of tree sap which has fossilized. Thats why you get small insects and stuff inside it. Like durasic park. Its a nice golden colour so it may mean you are the Golden Girl. :^)
