The word swine is used as a noun and the word can be used to describe a kind of person who is very unpleasant. The plural term that can be used for the term can be swine itself or sometimes you can add the letter 's'. Given below is a sentence that can make you understand the word well: I don't want to meet that arrogant little swine. The sentence says that the person doesn't want to meet a person who is very arrogant and also looking very unpleasant.

The word can also be used for a kind of task that is that is very difficult and unpleasant and this use of the word is usually happened in Britain. Sometimes the word can also be used to describe a pig but this use is found only in technical terms or in very old forms of English.

Swine means pig. The swine flu originally started from pigs, than adapted to humans. I think the first to die from it this year (2009) was a 23 month old baby.
