It's common among Jewish/Israeli people. But I don't come across many people named Levi in general.

Ancient Hebrew meaning is, "joined in harmony." Then acquired priestly connotations after the descendants of Levi, son of Leah and Jacob, became a priestly tribe.

And "Hippy" is actually quite well known...(I'm helping get you all straightened out here...)

Virginia, people have been trying to straighten me out for half a century. Every little bit helps, and I thank you, but I seem to always find the "can of worms" to open.

No, my mother says she made my name up. My maiden name was very common. My married name is very unusual too, but not as unusual as my first name.

Yeah I would say so, according to google 700,000+ share my first name in the US.

But according to that also, there are "Fewer then 1,614 people" with the name(s) Superfly. Original. In the US as well.

Not so sure on their statistical accuracy now... Lol

It's fairly common, although most people spell it with "ice" at the end.

(Although my married last name brings back memories of Leave It To Beaver for many people! )

My first name used to be, but not anymore. My married and maiden names are fairly common. With that said I did live in one place that had two other women with my same name. It was only a problem when I went to book a medical test and they told me I had to wait 3 months because it hadn't been a year yet. I had to get my doctor involved in getting it booked correctly.
