What Does Rational Mean?

Rationality is a term that is normally related to the idea of being or giving a sensible reason or idea. Rationality can refer to intelligence and inference. It can also refer to being rational with explanation, justification or understanding, that to particularly if it is based on certain ground or motive. Rational can also mean being reasonable or having sound judgement, not being extreme or aggressive in taking a certain judgement.

In math, rational means a number that can be written as the quotient of two integers, like 3/4. It's aplyied to functions with a rational domain too. A rational can be a finite number ,like 0.25, or a periodic one, like 0.33333... Wich is the same as 1/3.
