Tampoco is a Spanish word that means neither, not or either.
For example, you have a friend who says that she did not go to class that day.
Now, suppose you did not go either so you would say "Nor did I" or en español: "Ni yo tampoco" or simply "Yo tampoco" (Me neither).
Let's look at another example:
Somebody says that they cannot hear any birds singing in the city, so you could say, "Yo tampoco lo oigo" which means 'I can't hear it either.'
