What Does Commissioned Mean?
The term commissioned means the act of giving way certain powers of authority to carry out a specified task or duty. Commissioned is also a well known Gospel group out of Detroit which has recorded eleven albums over the span of seventeen years.
The initial six members were Keith Staten, Fred Hammond, Mitchell Jones, Karl Reid, Michael Brooks and Michael William. By the year 1991 Staten and Brooks separated from the group, they were substituted by Marvin Sapp, Maxx Frank and Eddie Howard junior.
By the year 1994 Howard also left the group followed by William who left the following year. Over the period of years Hammond even quit the group to pursue a career with the band Radical for Christ, and was substituted by Montrell Darrentt.
