Respect means to honor, accept, pay homage to, and diversity means 'many kinds', So respect diversity means to appreciate all the different things, people, etc.....If you have a view point that is diverse from me, than it is a difference of opinion, that means that even if we don't agree, we should at least respect or value the other persons point of view, if possible.
