When you have a high ESR it is most likely some sort of inflammation process in the body, worst case scenario could be lupus, it also can be raised from the common cold and stress. Don't worry, just have it repeated.

I would strongly suggest that you consult with your doctor about your bloodwork results. An increased MCH along with an increased SED/ESR rate can be an indication of a serious illness. I would definitely recommend that you ask for more detailed bloodwork. You should insist. Also, if your results continue to come back abnormal in these two areas I would insist on seeing a hematologist. I am not a doctor but from my understanding of bloodwork these two areas being high can be a sign of a neoplastic disorder. I hope that this helps.

MCH is the mean corpuscular hemoglobin which is the average amount of hemoglobin in a red blood cells. Its low levels indicate anemia and high levels indicate a active infection. The ESR is the abbreviation of erythrocyte sedimentation rate. The high levels of ESR indicate inflammation.
