What Does A 5 Point Star On A House Mean?

Oh man I was wondering the same thing for like three months. I drive from Bowling Green to Sandusky for work and I would see five pointed stars on like every fifteenth house, but also on more than one election sign, and some other places. I was starting to wonder if there was some sort of secret I wasn't in on.

At first I thought it was the star of David but that's a 6 point.

A five pointed star represents christ.  Its a christian symbol that represents the body or so to speak with the top point over the bottom 4. It also can stand for the crucifiction of christ the top being the crown of thorns, to sides being hands and bottom points being feet.
